Open fal.ai and click "Sign up". You can sign up with GitHub, Google or your e-mail address.
Open Billing in your fal.ai dashboard and top up your balance with a payment card. fal.ai charges every AI generation you start in filmaris to this balance. Free coupon credits only work in fal.ai’s own playground, not through the API — filmaris needs purchased credit. Keep an eye on the balance: when it runs low, fal.ai locks the account and filmaris generations stop with a fal.ai error until you top up again. New fal.ai accounts can run 2 generations at the same time; the limit rises automatically (up to 40) as you buy more credit. Purchased fal.ai credit expires 365 days after purchase.
Open Keys in your fal.ai dashboard and click "Create Key". Give it a name you will recognise, for example "filmaris", and choose the scope "API". Copy the key right away — fal.ai shows it only once.
In filmaris open Account → Your API Keys. In the fal.ai row click "Add key", paste the key and click "Validate & save". filmaris checks the key with fal.ai and stores it encrypted.
Every AI generation now runs on your fal.ai key. You see its cost in your fal.ai dashboard; the filmaris credits for the platform show in your filmaris balance.
Yes. The AI generations — video, images, audio, music, speech — run on your own fal.ai API key and are charged by fal.ai. filmaris charges for creating the film and using the platform through its plans.
fal.ai charges it to your fal.ai balance. filmaris charges its platform credits through your filmaris plan.
No. fal.ai coupon credits only work in fal.ai’s own playground, not through the API that filmaris uses. Add purchased credit under Billing in your fal.ai dashboard.
