Higgsfield Alternative: Nine Options, Sorted by What You Need
Higgsfield combines its own tools, such as Cinema Studio, Genjutsu and an AI Influencer Studio, with hosted models like Kling 4.0, Seedance 2.5 and Veo 3.1, all paid with credits. The right Higgsfield alternative depends on why you are moving: another hub with many models, one model bought at the source, pay per use without a plan, or a tool that turns a story into a whole film.
October 2026

The short answer
There is no single Higgsfield alternative; choose by the job. For another multi-model hub, Runway, Luma Dream Machine and Pika now host models such as Kling and Seedance next to their own. For one model, go to its maker: Kling AI for Kling 4.0, Dreamina for Seedance 2.5, Google Flow for Gemini Omni and Veo 3.1. For pay per use, fal.ai; for a whole film from a script, LTX Studio or filmaris.

1Runway: own models plus Kling and Seedance
Runway's Gen-4.5 is its flagship text- and image-to-video model, and Aleph 2.0, released in May 2026 with the Edit Studio app, changes footage you already have, for clips up to 30 seconds and across several cuts at once. Its plans also include third-party models, among them Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5, so it covers much of what draws people to a hub. The Free plan is a one-time credit deposit that does not expire. Standard, Pro and Max add monthly credits; on Standard and Pro they reset each billing cycle, while Max carries up to one month over. Gen-4.5 recently gained a first-frame input, and Pro plans and above can export ProRes 4444 or PNG sequences.
Best for: editors who want control and professional export formats
- Own models plus Kling and Seedance
- Edits existing footage with Aleph 2.0
- ProRes and PNG-sequence export
- The free deposit is one-time
- Most subscription credits reset monthly
2Luma Dream Machine: Ray3.2 next to other leading models
Luma's Dream Machine runs Luma's own Ray models, Ray3.14 and the newer Ray3.2, next to Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, Kling 3.0 Omni and Google's Gemini Omni Flash, plus image models such as Nano Banana 2.1 and GPT-Image-2.5. The Ray3 family introduced HDR output and a draft mode for quick previews, and Ray3.14 added native 1080p with faster generation. Plans are Plus, Pro and Ultra with monthly credits, plus Team and Enterprise, and commercial use is already part of Plus. Luma's pricing page lists no free plan, so you pay from the first generation, which is the main difference from Higgsfield's free entry.
Best for: a multi-model hub with its own HDR-capable model
- Ray3.2 plus Seedance, Kling and Gemini Omni
- Commercial use from the first plan
- HDR output in the Ray3 family
- No free plan listed
- Credits come only with a subscription
3Pika: many models, credit packs, quick effects
Pika has grown from an effects app into a compact hub. Every plan reaches Pika 2.5 and Pikaframes plus Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3, Wan 3.0 and Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash, along with audio models such as Pika Music, Pika Soundtrack and Pika SFX. That overlaps well with Higgsfield's mix of models and fast social formats. Payment is flexible: the Free plan has no monthly credits, but you can buy top-up packs without subscribing, and they stay valid for 365 days. Starter, Creator and Fancy add monthly credits. A commercial licence begins with the Creator plan, so the cheaper routes are meant for personal work.
Best for: effects and short social clips across many models
- Many current models on every plan
- Credit packs without a subscription
- Music and sound-effect models included
- No free monthly credits
- Commercial licence only from the Creator plan
4Google Flow: Gemini Omni and Veo at the source
Flow is Google's filmmaking tool for its own models. Since May 2026 it runs Gemini Omni Flash, which takes text, images, audio and video as input and keeps a character's identity and voice from scene to scene; the 1.1 update in August added scene extension, start and end frames, 4K upscaling and a cheaper 360p draft mode. Veo 3.1 came before it, and in the Gemini API Google now points Veo 3.1 users to Omni. Access comes with Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscriptions, and generations draw on the plan's credits. If Veo was the reason you used Higgsfield, this is its home; developers reach Omni through the paid Gemini API.
Best for: Google's newest video model, straight from Google
- Identity and voice kept across scenes
- Scene extension and start and end frames
- Included in Google AI plans
- Needs a paid Google AI subscription
- Only Google's own models
5Kling AI: Kling 4.0 the day it ships
If Kling was the model you used most on Higgsfield, going direct gives you the newest version first. Kling 4.0 opened to users on 15 October 2026: up to 30 seconds in one generation, up to 15 reference assets through Omni Reference and up to 10 keyframes, with Kling 3.0 still on offer. Kling also exposes an MCP server and a command-line tool, so AI agents can call it, and a developer API for Kling 4.0 has been announced. The Basic plan is free but has no fixed monthly credits; membership credits are valid for one month, purchased packs for two years. Watermark-free downloads come with the paid plans.
Best for: Kling users who want each new version first
- Kling 4.0 with 30-second generations
- Reference and keyframe control
- Credit packs valid for two years
- One model family only
- Free credits are promotional
6Dreamina: Seedance 2.5 from ByteDance
Dreamina is ByteDance's own platform for its Seedance models, and Seedance 2.5 launched there first on 31 July 2026. The release centres on longer generations, more control through reference assets and targeted editing, so you can correct part of a clip without generating all of it again. Dreamina also covers images and talking avatars in the same account. Eligible users may get free trial credits without a credit card, although the amount varies by account and region; paid plans add monthly credits, watermark-free downloads and higher resolution. Choose it if Seedance was the model you reached for most often on Higgsfield.
Best for: Seedance users who want it from its maker
- Seedance 2.5 at the source
- Targeted edits instead of full regenerations
- Trial credits without a card
- Trial credits vary by account and region
- Watermark-free output is paid
7fal.ai: the models without the subscription
fal.ai skips plans altogether. It hosts Kling (v3 and O3), MiniMax H3, Seedance 2.0, Grok Imagine Video 1.5 and PixVerse V6 behind one API, billed per second, per image or per generation, and its catalogue also links Veo 3.1, Wan 3.0 and LTX 2.3. What you get are models, not presets or studios: you write prompts and code, or try a model in the playground first. For a team that liked Higgsfield's choice of models but not its credit system, that is the most direct swap. It is also the account filmaris works with when you bring your own key, so the same balance can serve both.
Best for: developers and teams who want pay per use
- No subscription, pay per output
- Many models, one bill
- The same key works in filmaris
- No camera presets or effects library
- You build the workflow yourself
8LTX Studio: from script to storyboard and pitch
LTX Studio, from the makers of the LTX models, starts from a script. It splits the text into scenes and shots, extracts characters, objects and locations as reusable Elements to keep them consistent, and generates the video with background music and sound effects. LTX-2.5 and LTX-2.3 run on every plan, Kling 3.0 Pro and Seedance 2.0 from Standard, and Veo 3.1 on Pro. The Free plan is a one-time credit grant for personal use with blank storyboards; AI-generated storyboards, saved Elements and a commercial licence start with Standard. It also exports pitch decks, which suits agencies presenting ideas to clients.
Best for: agencies turning scripts into storyboards and pitches
- Script split into scenes, shots and Elements
- Several model families on higher plans
- Pitch-deck export
- AI storyboards need the Standard plan
- Free plan is one-time and for personal use only
9filmaris: when the goal is a whole film
filmaris answers a different question from Higgsfield: not which effect or preset, but how to get from an idea to a finished film. You start with one sentence, a screenplay or a book. The Script Writer builds scenes and dialogue, every character, place and prop gets a reference sheet, and each shot is planned and sent to the model that suits it among more than fifty, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 and Seedance 2.5 among them. An AI check redoes failed shots, ElevenLabs voices and music are added, and you finish on a multitrack timeline with MP4 up to 4K or FCPXML. It is not the tool for avatar videos, viral effects or one quick clip. The first one-minute film, made from storyboard pictures with camera moves and voiced dialogue, is free.
Best for: complete films with story, recurring characters, voices and music
- Script, cast, shots, sound and edit in one place
- Per-shot choice among more than fifty models
- Cost shown before every run; your own fal.ai key works
- No avatar, influencer or effect presets
- Real AI video shots need a paid plan
How we compared
We started from what Higgsfield's own homepage lists in October 2026, its studios and its hosted models, and looked for tools that do the same jobs. For every entry we read the provider's pricing page, changelog or launch announcement between 16 and 22 October 2026 and kept a source for each statement. Prices are left out because they change often and vary by region; we compare how you pay instead. We ran no paid generations for this comparison. filmaris is our own product and is listed for the one job it is built for.
Need a film, not a clip?
Describe your story in one sentence. filmaris writes it, casts it and plans every shot, and your first one-minute storyboard film costs nothing.
Start your film freeHiggsfield alternatives: common questions
What is the best Higgsfield alternative?
It depends on what you used Higgsfield for. For many models under one plan, Runway, Luma Dream Machine or Pika. For a single model, its maker's own app: Kling AI, Dreamina or Google Flow. For pay per use, fal.ai. For turning a script into a film, LTX Studio or filmaris.
Is there a free Higgsfield alternative?
Several have a free way in. Runway gives a one-time credit deposit, Kling has a free Basic plan with promotional credits, Dreamina offers trial credits to eligible users and LTX Studio's Free plan includes a one-time credit grant for personal use. filmaris gives each confirmed e-mail one free one-minute film made from storyboard pictures. Open models such as Wan 2.2 and LTX-2.5 run free on your own graphics card.
Which alternative has the same models as Higgsfield?
Higgsfield's homepage lists Kling 4.0, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and Veo 3.1. Runway and Luma also carry Kling and Seedance, Pika carries Seedance 2.5, Google Flow is the home of Veo 3.1 and Google's newer Gemini Omni, and Kling 4.0 is available on Kling AI itself.
Which tool keeps characters consistent across a whole film?
Look for reusable references. LTX Studio stores characters, objects and locations as Elements, Gemini Omni in Google Flow keeps identity and voice across scenes, and Kling 4.0 accepts up to 15 reference assets. filmaris draws a reference sheet for every character, location and prop before the first shot is generated, so faces and places stay the same throughout the film.
Can I combine Higgsfield clips with another tool?
Yes. Many creators generate single shots in a hub and assemble them elsewhere. filmaris accepts your own footage, images and audio on its multitrack timeline, so clips made in other tools can sit next to the shots it generates.
